The primary responsibility of the international committee is to deal with the issues, needs and concerns of the international community among the graduate body within our campus and to showcase the diversity that the ESF graduate body represents.
Our mission is to make all international students feel as much at home as possible at ESF. We support them with their needs, issues and concerns as well as by helping them integrate into the rest of the student community. We achieve this by holding mingling events such as international night or movie nights and by leading a yearly International Students Panel, with expert speakers that talk about immigration issues, visa paperwork, CPT/OPT options and more.
international night
GSA puts on an annual International Night, a celebration of our graduate community diversity. We often request a bit of your help to ensure the success of the activity. We want the International Night to be a great, big, international pot luck were we can come together relax, meet new friends and share some laughs. We ask you to cook, bring and share some your country's comfort food with us. You can bring a little piece of your homeland and share it with the ESF community. We strive for this activity to be great enjoyment and camaraderie. If you have musical or dance talent that you want to share with us, you are more than encourage to perform that night. A limited amount of food expenses can reimburse per graduate student.
