Syracuse Chief’s Baseball Game Where: Alliance Bank Stadium, Syracuse NY When: Meet us at 6:30 outside the entrance of the Stadium to pick up your free tickets, game starts at 7pm What: The Syracuse Chiefs are the local minor league baseball team! We'll provide you with FREE tickets, you bring the cheer. How to get there: Carpool with other students or take the bus. Use the Centro.org trip planner to figure out the best route at that time. If you’re driving, there is a $5 charge for parking. Tuesday August 21st Frisbee, Yard Games, and Ice Cream Where: Outside the Inn Complete, South Campus at the top of Skytop Road When: 6pm Come out to play some Frisbee, or other outdoor yard games, and then we'll indulge you with some ice cream and other frozen treats. After, if you're still keen for some fun, food, and drink, we'll head into the Inn Complete, the Graduate Student Pub for ESF and SU students. The Inn Complete has free pool, ping pong, foosball and popcorn! Bring your ESF ID to receive discounts on food! How to get there: Carpool, take the bus by checking out the Centro schedules for Syracuse University, or bike! Wednesday, August 22nd Flamingo Bowl Dollar Bowling Where: Flamingo Bowl, 7239 Oswego Road Liverpool, NY When: 8:30pm What: Each bowling game costs just $1 between 9-11pm! Shoe rentals, draft beer, snacks and more are all just $1 each! How to get there: Carpool with other students. Thursday, August 23rd Empire Brewing Company and Armory Square Where: 120 Walton St, Syracuse When: 8:30pm What: Join us for drinks and food at Empire Brewing Company in the Downtown Armory Square area of Syracuse. Empire has some of the best beer in town and ESF Graduate Students receive a discount on some food and drink for this event! Bring your ESF ID! How to get there: Carpool with other students, but make sure you have a designated driver. Parking Downtown is free after 6pm. Or take the bus. Taxis are also available to pick you up and/or bring you back. They typically cost around $10-15 from the University neighborhood to downtown. |
