The following benefits are offered to ESF graduate students through the SU Graduate Student Organization:
Syracuse University Student Organizations Syracuse University has a wide array of student organizations. GSO financially supports student organizations that include graduate students or those that are entirely graduate student groups. All organizations are recognized through SU's Office of Student Activities.
Career Services In their own words: "We assist students and alumni with exploring careers and finding fulfilling work experiences. Our motto is personalized attention. If you come into our office, you'll meet with someone one-on-one and receive customized guidance for your needs. A few highlights of Career Services features include the following:

The Inn Complete Until the 1970's, the red barn on Skytop Road known as the "Ski Lodge" was used for just that - a working lodge for a University-owned and operated ski facility on South Campus. Today it is the home of The Inn Complete, a graduate student pub with a unique atmosphere, variety of games, entertainment, and of course food and beer. In partnership with the GSO for nearly two decades, this is a hidden hotspot and social point for all graduate students. Show your graduate student ID for drink and food discounts.
Empire Park Passports Empire Park Passports are available through the Schine Box Office. Empire Park Passports give you access to all-season enjoyment of New York State Parks, they provide unlimited day use vehicle entry to most NYS Parks and recreational facilities. Student Legal Services The Student Association and the Graduate Student Organization fund a legal services program (Student Legal Services) for Syracuse University students. The services available under the program include advice and consultation on various legal problems and court appearances in certain situations, all by attorneys paid for by funds supplied by your student activity fee.
Syracuse University Early Education and Childcare Center This program offers families affiliated with the university a responsive, educational, full day care program for their children. SU's EECCC partners with the GSO, and they offer a sliding fee schedule based on combined family income. Contact 315-443-4482 for more information or visit their website.
Bernice M. Wright Nursery School Part-time services for children ages 2- 5 of all families, students, employees, and residents. Morning session 9 - 11 am; afternoon session 1- 3:30pm. Located in building M-17 Lambreth Lane, South Campus. Please call 315-443-2471 for more information.
Drumlins Country Club The Graduate Student Organization has partnered with Drumlins Country Club to offer graduate students tennis during the academic year or year-round gold at Drumlins West (from July - June) for only $25 per person for the entire year. Your $25 pass for tennis gets you one year of access to the Drumlins tennis facility, including access to their indoor tennis courts for those cold winter months. You get the same privileges as a regular Drumlins tennis member, including the ability to reserve a court for your convenience. Loaner tennis equipment is available for those who are new to the sport. Golf pass holders have access to free loaner equipment and a discount on golf balls at the driving range. Additionally, graduate students are offered a 10% discount off food charges in the restaurant at Drumlins. Enjoy great happy hour specials in the bar area on Fridays, including live bands and drink specials in a comfortable, relaxed setting.
