Mission of the SUNY-ESF GSA
The SUNY-ESF Graduate Student Association is the representative body for graduate students on the campus of SUNY-ESF in Syracuse, NY. The GSA is responsible for advocating for student members through regular interaction with SUNY-ESF Administration and Faculty. GSA Officers rely on regular interaction with student members to ensure appropriate representation of student needs and sentiment. The GSA is also responsible for providing opportunities for professional development to its members. This is accomplished through funding opportunities, outreach work including regular speaker series, and venues for student members to present their work. The GSA also assists in social networking for the student body, both inter- and intra-department.
